BlackStart Controller
In 2014, PB Design introduced the BlackStart Controller, a smart battery disconnector. This allowed the DNOs to meet the 72 hours autonomy for their switch trippers without significantly increasing battery size. The BlackStart is available as a wall-mount option to retrofit an existing switch tripper, or integrated into our 19″ rack mounted cubicles. BlackStart is available to protect either single or dual battery strings.
