Ride for Precious Lives
Friday 7 - Sunday 9 July 2017
Three days, three counties, three hospices…
Ride for Precious Lives is our most ambitious fund raising event to date for PB Design, 205 miles, three day cycle challenge all in aid of Children’s Hospice South West. Mark Crocker, MD and fellow director Tim Broomfield have taken up the challenge to raids funds for our selected charity.
The ride takes in each of our three children’s hospices; Little Harbour near St Austell, Little Bridge House near Barnstaple and Charlton Farm near Bristol.
As an employee owned business, PB Design are committed to supporting the wider community. Hearing directly from Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) and the work they do in caring for children, PB Design made the decision in 2017 to support CHSW our main charity, with a 3 year commitment in fund raising and support for such a worthwhile cause.
Mark Crocker commented “We kick off our support for CHSW with a 205 mile cycle ride. Despite both myself and Tim being keen cyclists, with over 110 years between us, this is our most ambitious cycle ride yet.”
PB Design have set a target of raising £3,000 for the event.
About Children’s Hospice South West
At Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) we are absolutely committed to making the most of short and precious lives. The care offered at each of our hospices is not simply about medical and nursing care for sick children, but about enriching the lives of children and their families.
Families talk about the 'treasure chest' of precious memories they build to carry into the future... a future which will, sadly, be without their much loved child or children.
